BODY IN BALANCE
Unique to Club Meadowvale this low impact class incorporates core control and rhythmic movements of Pilates with stability training. Focus on improving balance, posture, strength and movement through combinations of exercises. This class will make you feel longer and stronger. Beginner member’s welcome.
BOOT CAMP CIRCUIT / BOOT CAMP CHALLENGE / SURVIVOR CIRCUIT
This versatile class offers exercises through rotational stations or circuits. It is an effective, time-efficient way to develop all-round fitness conditioning of strength, endurance, flexibility and coordination. Great for intermediate to advanced participants.
Peddle your way through an amazing fat burning cardio-conditioning workout on a specialized indoor bike. Each person controls his or her own tension & intensity. Cycle Express is a 30-minute class best suited for beginner participants.
Develop both strength and stamina through interval cycling and bursts of off bike toning exercises. Great for intermediate participants.
CYCLE ABS AND STRETCH
Reward your body with 30 minutes of pure cycling bliss followed by 15 mins of abs and15 minutes of gentle flexibility and body stretching.
This non-conventional fitness class is presented by Joanna Mihaililuk Fitness Instructor Specialist and certified Personal Trainer. She will take you through a total body workout delivered in the form of a 1 on 1 Personal Training session. Get ready to be trained by a Pro.
Pilates is a workout done primarily on the mat focusing on strengthening and rebalancing the core muscles which include abdominals, back, shoulders and hips. It retrains our bodies to move with efficiency and ease. Beginner member’s welcome.
This spunky group class is the ultimate body shaping workout alternating body sculpt moves with aerobic exercises on the step. Step burns 30 – 60 % more calories than traditional aerobics with particular emphasis on hips, thighs, abdominals, and buttocks. Allow time and perseverance in learning step choreography.
STRETCH and ABS
An incomparable abdominal workout that zeros in on the core muscles of the back and the abdomen, with the goal to tone, strengthen, and define. Followed by a half hour of utter stretch and relaxation.
TOTAL BODY MUSCLE
A classic muscle conditioning class that will put your strength and muscular endurance to the test. This head to toe workout will teach how to maximize your workout and properly use a variety of fitness equipment. The class is designed for sculpting the body.
Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation) is a graceful sequence of positions performed as one continuous exercise for energy. A great cardio routine that brings flexibility and strength to your spine and joints and will help trim your waist.
Spice up your day with this simple to learn dance class combining music and movement from around the world. Learn steps from salsa, merengue, soca, bollywood, African, hip hop and beyond. Zumba is a free spirited dance suited for everyone.
Get your metabolism revved in this one-hour class focusing on quick and powerful exchanges of strength and cardio blasts. Burn calories for hours after this class!
AQUA MUSCLE H20
A low impact resistance training workout using the principles of water to create total body muscular strength and toning. Beginner member’s welcome.
This class is set up in stations where you will move around the room performing challenging cardio and resistance exercises designed to give a an all round amazing workout.
A one-hour class designed for those who still want a great workout, but with no impact. This class is a well-rounded cardio and muscle class followed with a relaxing stretch. All levels welcome.
